About You
I truly enjoyed attending the Trail Blazing Open Day at Taylor Wessing! It was an absolute fantastic opportunity to gain a real feel about the firm, their people, their culture and the values that lie behind their work.
I felt valued as soon as I walked through the door. All the people seemed to be genuinely interested in learning more about me and my interest in the firm. Everyone was so accessible, easy to talk and eager to answer all my questions about their work and personal experience so far with the firm. This made me feel very valued and well looked after.
The event was very well-structured. Everything was planned in detail and all the presentations and activities run smoothly and without any glitches. Constant guidance and support throughout the day definitely made the difference.
The Open Day truly put to test my team working and networking skills. The business game in particular made me realise how important and immensely useful commercial awareness is in practice.
The Company
The Trail Blazing Open Day was extremely well-run, very organised and on time.
The firm was immensely friendly. Everyone made me feel very welcome and contributed well to the experience.
The attention and investment given to us throughout the Open Day was excellent and adequate for the purpose of the even itself. I cannot think of anything else that Taylor Wessing could have done to enhance my overall experience.
Yes - the talks given by partners and the interaction with current trainees at the firm were immensely helpful for me in finding out what a full time role with the firm actually entails and what the expectations of the post are.
Insight into the firm's culture was greater that I could have hoped. The culture of Taylor Wessing is unique and truly forward-thinking - something that was always reiterated throughout the day and backed up with real examples from partners and trainees.
The event 100% confirmed my aspiration to become a commercial lawyer and hopefully a trainee at the firm.
Everything Else
The networking lunch and networking drinks at the end of the day provided plenty of opportunities to speak to people from the firm throughout the day. This truly helped me build a relationship with the firm and most importantly with the people there.
Networking sessions were once again very well-planned and looked after. The informal lunch and final drink session allowed us the opportunity to ask any question to the graduate recruitment team and trainees in a more relaxed and informal way.
Yes, there are a lot of sport activities and social events that employees can get involved in outside of work which is great for a healthy work-life balance!
Absolutely.
