    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I very much enjoyed my internship at TFL. I was entrusted with a lot of responsibility and made to feel welcome by the rest of the Team I was in. I was set a range of Tasks and I was able to take part in a range of different activities.

  • I felt as if I had been part of the team for years.

  • My supervisors were very approachable and always had a moment to spare for me.

  • It varied on a day to day basis, some days were more busy than others.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was trusted with more responsibility than I would have expected, I was in charge of managing a database concerning signalling incidents on some of the tube lines.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I have gained a lot of self confidence which will allow me to tackle my studies in a much more positive manner. Over the period I was here I managed to develop and improve myself. I was able to determine my areas of strength and weaknesses.

  • The atmosphere in the office was that of positivity and friendliness

  • Amazing ,the opportunities provided by the graduate scheme are second to none. I will be able to widen my horizon and gain experience in several sectors of the company.

  • Fellow placement students got together on several occasions to undertake activities.
