The Role
I very much enjoyed my internship at TFL. I was entrusted with a lot of responsibility and made to feel welcome by the rest of the Team I was in. I was set a range of Tasks and I was able to take part in a range of different activities.
I felt as if I had been part of the team for years.
My supervisors were very approachable and always had a moment to spare for me.
It varied on a day to day basis, some days were more busy than others.
I was trusted with more responsibility than I would have expected, I was in charge of managing a database concerning signalling incidents on some of the tube lines.
I have gained a lot of self confidence which will allow me to tackle my studies in a much more positive manner. Over the period I was here I managed to develop and improve myself. I was able to determine my areas of strength and weaknesses.
The Company
The atmosphere in the office was that of positivity and friendliness
There were a lot of opportunities to go on training courses
National Travel
Amazing ,the opportunities provided by the graduate scheme are second to none. I will be able to widen my horizon and gain experience in several sectors of the company.
The Culture
Fellow placement students got together on several occasions to undertake activities.
There were a lot of recreational activities advertised
