The Role
Work was interesting and relevant, as well as varied. Project work was an oppurtunity to work with interns across the country
Felt very welcome, in the office and at social events.
Always knew what was expected of me, and colleagues always made themselves available for me to ask questions if I was stuck.
Varied workload, some days had nothing, some days had a lot to do. I was in control of my workload to some extent however, I was asked if I could take work on, rather than it being dumped on me
responsibility increased throughout internship, similar responsibility to a new graduate
invaluable experience of office life/graduate employment, as well as insight into actuarial profession.
The Company
for what is primarily a working environment, very enjoyable and pleasant place to work. everyone very friendly
well organised. chance to work with interns from different offices, direct contact and responsibility for dealing with a charity in corporate social responsibilty setting - all well organised
given alot of internal training in many areas
Sports and Social Club
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Would definately consider working with them in the future
The Culture
Interns got on well together, and met up socially a couple of times. Lots of sport and a couple of social events in the office
Quite expensive night out (compared to student prices at uni!)
Leeds. Enough said
Sports, social events
