About You
I enjoyed it very much, there was a fun icebreaker at the start, and the emplyeees I met were very nice and helpful.
I felt very valued, we were divided up into small groups and had the chance to talk with emplyeees
A lot. We were given many presentations throughout the day about different areas of the company
I developed my knowledge about what an actuary does within hymans Robertson and received a lot of information about the application process and tips on how to be a successful candidate
The Company
We had small sessions throughout the morning and was structured very well
Everyone was kind and eager to learn about what hymans Robertson had to offer.
They told us the key skills needed to join their firm and how to show these skills during their application process
We learnt about each of the sectors within hymans Robertson, and talked to employees to learn what they did on a day to day basis
I was able to understand the the key values of the company
The insight day affirmed my career choice in becoming and actuary as I learnt what an actuary does on a day to day basis
Everything Else
I had to pay for my travel expenses to get to the insight day
Yes we had the chance to talk to employees throughout the morning and had plenty of opportunities to ask them any questions
We were able to network with employees at the end of the morning
No. The day was mainly focused on the company and what it had to offer
Yes it was extremely helpful and it has motivated me to work for hymans Robertson in the future
