    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • I throughly enjoyed the Trailblazing Open Day. Upon arrival we were met and greeted with warmth and enthusiasm which made me feel welcome and much more relaxed. We also took part in a Business Game in teams, which was great practise for Assessment Days and allowed me to gain a greater insight to what Taylor Wessing are looking for, thus will help me in the future.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • We had presentations from three partners in the firm which shows their genuine commitment to potential new recruits. In addition I felt like the trainees were keen to give us our time and were more than willing to answer our questions.

    5/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • The Business Game provided a good example of what we could expect on a Taylor Wessing Assessment Day. We also received hints and tips on what 'good looks like' on an application form.

    4/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • As it was only an insight day and was focussed on upcoming Vacation Schemes and Training Contract applications, it was more geared to providing information rather than developing particular skills. Although the Business Game did allow me to practise the necessary skills for an Assessment Day.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • The enthusiasm of Sarah and the team made for a interesting, friendly and informative day. We were made to feel valued, with around 20 employees making themselves assessable to us - a huge investment of their time! It was especially impressive to have had presentations from 3 Partners.
