About You
I throughly enjoyed the Trailblazing Open Day. Upon arrival we were met and greeted with warmth and enthusiasm which made me feel welcome and much more relaxed. We also took part in a Business Game in teams, which was great practise for Assessment Days and allowed me to gain a greater insight to what Taylor Wessing are looking for, thus will help me in the future.
We had presentations from three partners in the firm which shows their genuine commitment to potential new recruits. In addition I felt like the trainees were keen to give us our time and were more than willing to answer our questions.
The Business Game provided a good example of what we could expect on a Taylor Wessing Assessment Day. We also received hints and tips on what 'good looks like' on an application form.
As it was only an insight day and was focussed on upcoming Vacation Schemes and Training Contract applications, it was more geared to providing information rather than developing particular skills. Although the Business Game did allow me to practise the necessary skills for an Assessment Day.
The Company
The day was well organised and all ran smoothly. The information regarding the agenda of the day was communicated well.
The enthusiasm of Sarah and the team made for a interesting, friendly and informative day. We were made to feel valued, with around 20 employees making themselves assessable to us - a huge investment of their time! It was especially impressive to have had presentations from 3 Partners.
The company gave their time which made me feel valued. I was only at the firm for the day which obviously limited the amount of training and development available.
The culture of the firm was demonstrated well because so many employees took part. It heightened my genuine enthusiasm for the firm confirming to me, that Taylor Wessing are a firm I could see myself working for.
Having already visited the Taylor Wessing offices before, I knew they valued their clients and staff and the day confirmed that this is imbedded in their culture.
Excellent - It confirmed my ambition to be a Commercial Lawyer and compounded my desire to fulfil this career path at Taylor Wessing.
Everything Else
Yes, there was both a lunch time networking session, as well as 'informal drinks' at the end of the day.
The lunch was relaxed and informal, allowing me to engage with the trainees.
Yes, the two trainees I was conversing with during the networking lunch spoke enthusiastically about the social life as they were members of the Social Committee.
Yes definitely.
