The Role
The staff were all very friendly and at the end of my programme I was sad to leave, I learnt a lot and am very grateful to Lloyds for giving me the opportunity
The pharmacist and dispenser especially but also the counter staff were so friendly and helpful.
The support I got to work in the pharmacy was great however the guidance from the pharmacist could have been a little better as I did not manage to complete my summer vacation folder completely as my time was not distributed evenly.
It varied day to day, some days were extremely hectic whereas others (mostly depending on the weather) were quiet, but I did always have something to keep me occupied so it was a good balance.
I was a quick learner so the team managed to give me a lot of responsibility which I appreciated
Great opportunity to have the experience in the pharmacy and definitely will help me along my way
The Company
It depended on the staff who were working, but everybody was always professional and got on well with each other. Some days were more fun than others.
Quite well, but as I said I could have been given more time to work on the programme folder I was given
Not too much training was given but I think enough was invested in me.
After speaking to the pharmacists and their comparisons with other pharmacies to work for, lloyds do seem more appealing, however my interest lies within clinical pharmacy not community
The Culture
The staff were of all different ages so the social side was at a minimum
Its close to my home town so it was fine
