The Role
I found it an excellent experience into the proper working life
I felt very valued by my colleagues.Everybody made me feel like one of the team
Always given lots of guidance in branch and had 2 attend regular training sessions at head office which was excellent
We were very busy at times and would sometimes not finish until late but still was worthwhile
I was given lots of responsibilities. I was undertaking the same tasks as management trainees were and were delegated tasks daily which if I did not complete, would not be completed by anybody else.
I have developed lots of skills i think i will find useful from a boost in confidence to sales and marketing skills and interpersonal skills.Definately use all these skills in the future
The Company
The atmosphere was excellent! Everybody helped everybody.Team working was always present which promoted a great work environment
Excellent. Traning was set up for the first week so we were prepared when we went into our branches the following week
A lot was invested into me. I received the same amount of training as graduate students.
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
From my experience this year there is a lot of potential to progress in the company quickly which i find very appealing when i graduate.
The Culture
I was the only placement student at my branch but i have interacted well with the other placement students as well as the staff in my branch
I lived at home for the year so this was not an issue
Again it was okay. There are a few bars etc but nothing special.
There were a few opportunities.
