The Role
The culture at SLI is great, we enjoying being part of the SLI team for the past 5 week.
We were treated equally as other staff members and it was a great experience
Our sponsor was always there for us, and the team was so amazing. They supported us throughout the internship and it was good to learn from them.
Our days were well balanced
we were given a project of our own to deliver and the team was so supportive.
It was an opportunity to get to match the theories from class to the real practice. I gained valuable skills in project management and change which will be beneficial to my future career.
The Company
SLI has an open and human orientate culture, this makes you feel comfortable and able to integrate within the team easy.
Everything was well organised. We were assigned a sponsor to support us during the our time SLI, she was instrumental in our success. When we came in the whole team was aware that we are coming and they offered theirs support throughout our internship.
There were opportunities for professional development program but given the schedule of our project we were not able to attend but it was good that we could join if we wanted
Company Parties/Events
I still have a year to finish my MSc, that is the discussion that can be initiated towards the end of my course. We were given a open invitation to come back.
The Culture
all of us enjoyed the experience working with SLI, we were put into two teams working on two different project and we all appreciated the opportunity we got. We learnt a lot through this internship
