The Role
I enjoyed my work, however I can depend on the project you land within the company.
They gave feedback and praise where required.
When I required assistance, my manager or assigned buddy was always ready to help.
Had a constant workload mon-fri 9-5.30
I 'owned' certian processes within the team- so i was fully in charge of those areas.
The skills we be useful in both my career and through university.
The Company
The office was very quiet and people mostly kept themselves to themselves, however that was because everyone was on different projects, sharing a flexi-desk office.
HR kept us informed of events and socials well in advanced. They were well organised.
We had a weeks 'training', although some would say more of an ice breaker before our placement. It was helpful.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
I hope to obtain an offer and return to the company.
The Culture
I met other interns and my project team out side of work on a fairly regular basis. It was a good social scene.
I only teneded to socialise in the city as everyone lived in different places.
London town?? Spot on!
Acenture has many social groups that you can choose to get involved with- evening and weekend events included.
