The Role
I was placed in a great school, BLCU. I was not familiar with it at first but got great advise about enrolling there. After that I really started reading about the university.
I will say that my classmates were cool, a lot of them were from other countries so its was really international. Everyone in class was a foreigner in China.
Mt Chinese Teacher was great and patient considering that she was teaching a group of beginners. She seemed professional enough and I enjoyed her class. The support of Go Abroad China was good as they advised me on what to prepare before I left for Beijing.
I had classes for 4 hours everyday. Once or twice a week they would extend to 6 hours.
Since I was studying, my responsibilities were making sure homework was completed in time, that I showed up to class everyday etc.
Well definitely my Chinese has improved, I am able to speak more although the writing is still really difficult for me. Reading is just okay but sometimes I forget the characters! But anyway my favourite thing was always speaking and listening classes.
The Company
I thought my class was good, I made friends quickly even though i didn't\t know everybody.
Go Abroad China organized things for me without any major problems, when I got to China accommodation was already set for me and somebody went to pick me up at the airport.
I gained a lot from going to China, with the language and just enjoying my time there since it was my first time in China anyway.

I'm not sure yet if I will get a chance to go back to China.
The Culture
I really went all out when it came to the social life in China, plus BLCU was in a great location for entertainment.
If you have a decent budget, the cost of living is not too bad, I thought food was cheap but housing was expensive.
Awesome.
