The Role
It's a great placement especially apart from role related tasks, there are a lot of different education and events so I will be able to learn beyond the area of my role.
I am doing a role replacing a regular employee so I feel valued by my colleagues.
When ever I need support, my managers and colleagues are always there to help. All we need to do is to ask. We students also have a Early Professional Manager who look after our non-task related matters and our personal development.
There are a lot of meetings and it take up at least half of my time. On top of that, I still have many reports and ad hoc tasks.
I'm given a project to lead with an experienced Project Manager mentoring me during the process.
Building confidence to speak up in a team definitely help in future group works.
The Company
Friendly yet professional environment.
The placement scheme is very well structured. Apart from our Task Manager, the Early Professional Manager is under the Placement Scheme to look after our personal development and non-task related matters. Regular formal reviews are also organised under the Placement Scheme.
Apart from the induction, we received a lot of education throughout the placement year: Career Talks, Roundtables, workshops, online education portal, forum, shadowing, and a lot more!

Working from home
Always different opportunities provided within the company to keep us fresh.
The Culture
We are close to one-another. Most of us are having lunch together in the canteen everyday. Students living in the same area always go out together after work.
Affordable costs.
The office is based in a rather small city with shops closing quite early. But easy access to larger neighbour cities with twenty minutes train for socialising and Nightlife.
A lot of non-task related events.
