The Role
It was always good fun and interesting with very little time to spare so never time to feel bored or underworked!
I have got on very well with everyone I have met and all have been welcoming and eager to help.
Always available to ask questions or set more work and would solve any issues that arose.
Busy enough to be working all day but not too busy that I would need to stay much later than the rest of my team.
It's hard to say how much of what I did will be used by the team and which were for my learning but there were certain tasks that I know were used there and then which was very satisfying.
Finished my dgeree but obviously everything I have learnt will be useful for pursuing a career in finance.
The Company
A combination of it being summer and a particularly turbulent period in the markets meant the atmospehere was at times highly pressurised and at others a bit slow.
Very well organised with lots of networking and social events as well as a strong rotation programme with interesting projects.
Being a small intern class meant that we received very personal training, an excellent level of exposure and a lot of time and effort invested in our progress.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Still have two weeks of the internship left but would love to be offered a position...
The Culture
Everyone has been great fun and we have got on very well as a small intern class. It has meant we have got to know each other and has made it a very enjoyable experience.
Central London is obviosuly not cheap but it has never caused an issue.
