The Role
Constantly large workloads.
Varied from busy to very busy.
Given plenty of client and fund manager work exposure.
Added many financial skills coming from a Economics background. Started to study towards IMC.
The Company
Very good working atmosphere.
Plenty of online courses, department specific reports and training, fund training, etc when the client work was slow.
Company Parties/Events
Great working lifestyle for an investment job!
The Culture
Only two of us on placement in Edinburgh (in different departments), so didn't have much of a chance to do a lot. Good social scene within department provided you were keen! (lots of Edinburgh festival activities).
Edinburgh is a pretty expensive place!
...great once you get passed the cost.
Quite a few social events considering small length of time.
