The Role
Overall it was good as a first experience of work, but I didn't get that much responsibility or development opportunities.
I was valued, but I wasn't given work in correlation with my capabilities.
A lot of guidance and support was given for all of my tasks.
Overall not enough work, I would say on average I had about 3 days work to do per week (full time job).
I was given work that was necessary, but not really critical to the business.
Not at all really. I wasn't given any training and the work was largely irrelevant to my degree. BAE give much better engineering internships.
The Company
It was quite quiet and not much happened from day to day.
My manager organised my work, but was often very busy and not able to give me the feedback and support I would have liked.
I was given no training on the internship.
I won't be going back to join the company when I graduate.
The Culture
I was the only placement student there, and we never went out after work.
It was quite cheap, in Bristol its fun to go out.
Great nightlife in bristol.
No opportunities.
