About You
I think it was really complet as we could learn a lot of new things (both about the company and about general financial subjects), we could network a lot with diferent employees, we could shadow employees based on our prefered areas, we did several workshops, and at the same time we enjoyed all the different activities as it was an opportunity to get to know new people with similar interests.
I felt really valued as we were constantly allowed to ask as questions as we wanted, and our opinion was important, in general. Moreover, aditional activies were organised (ex: city tour, dinner with employees...). We were defenitly valued.
We had a lotof support since the start.
The insight was mainly based in what we could expect from a career at fidelity. We got the chance to talk about interesting topics and to interact in interesting workshops that I could use in my university.
The Company
The structure was perfect: the first day was more introductory, the second based on the financial area (equities...), the third one based on other functions (sales and marketing, business management..) and the last one shadowing and wrap up.
The general atmosphere was great: my collegues were really intelligent, nice and openminded. The HR representants organised everything perfectly and were really nice and motivated with the insight success. And the speechers or invited employees were really helpful, interesting and nice too.
A lot! We learned plenty of things of how the company is organised and works, but we also made several workshops. All the things that we did could be considered as relevant training. The firm invested a lot of time on us in order to help us to develop our skills and knowledge.
Totally helpful. It help me to realize what was the area that I mostly prefer. Now I am sure of that! And it's all thanks to the insight and the opportunity of talking to workers.
It was a really important part of the insight. Each employee insisted a lot on the perfect culture of fidelity: it's like a family business, where everyone helps each other, and everyone is really intelligent and enthusiastic.
I already know which is my priority! As we saw an overview of all the departments, it is easier to decide based on your preferences and habilities which one we prefer.
Everything Else
I had practically 0 cost.
A lot! There were networking moments such as lunch, dinners, or in general coffee time. It was really interesting as we could talk to young workers but also managers or more top positions.
Really interesting! It was a chance to ask more questions and learn new things.
Afterwork or dinners in common in fidelity. And also some sportive activities.
Totally!
