About You
Great experience would diffently recommend to others
The time giving to us was really well spent and I feel that the experience will have benefited me greatly. I felt that everyone from citi got really involved in my time there and I almost felt are part of the company rather than an outsider just coming in for some work experience
Anytime we needed any help or questions asked there was also someone there to answer my questions

The Company
I thought the days were well structured there was never a time were I felt there wasn't something happening or going on. The only thing i would say the first day was a lot of information to take in and al lot of time spent on power points and presentations, some of the presentations overlapped aswell.
everyone seemed really welcoming and the company came across as a great place and environment to work from the people that I spoke with.
It showed me what the real world is like, and that its completely different to how University and the way you are taught and how you use different applications.
Previously I did not know much about citi but by the end of the first day I had a greater understanding of who the company is, what they do and what tools and technology they use in order to make there job easier/better. As the days went on we got to take an insight into specific departments which should me the different areas that me as a student could potential branch to.
Everyday I felt had great content and was interesting to hear all the different specific department presentations for technology. The only issue was day one was a lot of information to be taking into at once and was a lot of information overload personally, could have been broken up as the tech people were having to listen to presentations based on operations.
Everything Else
I feel that travel expenses could have been reimbursed but personally it did not bother me as I travelled on the train but it was still costly for 4 days in to belfast and back out.
A number of different people came to see us, which was great hearing about all the different department and job roles that citi actually has. It gave a broader look into the company, I feel that getting to talk to students especially on the placement year or coming out of the grad scheme was a real eye opener as you got so many different opinions and it helped me gain a better judgement on whether a placement there would be best for me and to consider other options after uni such as the grad scheme
was only there for a short period of time so i did not partake in network/social events
I found out about all the different socities and clubs they run as a company, which was great
yes I would 100% recommened this to anybody!
