About You
I really enjoyed learning all about what Citi do on a daily basis.
The person looking after us, [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions], was great in making us feel that we were valuable assets here during the work experience.
There was a lot of guidance given on each career path in Citi, which was very interesting to hear about, since I didn't know a lot about what the Belfast office did before joining.
Some of the knowledge that I have gained during this work experience will be extremely useful in University.
The Company
The days had a structure, and felt a lot more relaxing and more spread out. This meant I could take more information in from each presentation.
The atmosphere was generally very good, it had a professional feel, but at the same time it was relaxed which made the experience much more enjoyable.
There was guidance given for writing CVs and cover letters if it was required. This will be really useful in years to come.
There was some shadowing during one of the days, but it would be been better to see other departments as well.
I could really see what the company culture was like during the work experience and was really impressed by it.
The content given was very helpful in helping me to decide what I want to do in my future career.
Everything Else
Lunch and taxis to different offices were paid for, which was very kind of Citi to do.
I met a lot of staff that worked at Citi, and got a lot of opportunities to chat about what they did at the company.
We had a lunch with year placement students, which was useful in getting information about working for Citi in a more informal matter.
We were given a presentation about the many different clubs and societies that take place inside Citi. This was great to hear that working at Citi wasn't just about working.
This was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it to a friend.
