It was a great insight into tax consulting at Deloitte. The business games especially provided us with a feel of what life is like working at Deloitte and I believe I learnt a lot in a short space of time during the insight program.

The company put a lot of effort into getting us involved in order to actively learn something which I found very useful.

The program was very well organized, I don't think anyone felt unprepared or unsure with what was coming up.

I believe the insight program was more structured towards life after your degree program, but it was certainly a useful experience to learn about what I could potentially get involved in beyond my degree.

The insight was very well organized in my opinion. So much was useful information was scheduled into a short space of time.

The first day was very good due to the variety of different people who came in and shared their knowledge and experience. The second day was fun due to the business games and a more interactive experience.

I'd say the insight program was more structured towards learning about Deloitte and their tax consulting department and where perhaps you would enjoy working within the department. It wasn't focused around developing your skills necessarily, which is what deloitte's summer vacation scheme will allow more of.

The insight was very useful for this aspect. It allowed me to decide which area within Deloitte I would like to apply to.

I feel the evening meal especially allowed us to get a feel for the company culture. This is because speaking to graduates really gave me a feel of what the culture in Deloitte is like from a person who has joined the company from university like I would be.

Very valuable. I personally know what I'd like to apply for within Deloitte after experiencing the insight program as I feel I learnt enough and heard enough to know where I would like to work for a summer internship and perhaps beyond.

We were reimbursed up to £50 of travel expenses. Accommodation and meals were paid for during the insight as well.

After talks employees of the company were more than happy to talk to you and we had dinner with a range of Deloitte personnel were you could network easily.

The networking opportunities were very good in my opinion. We had plenty of time to talk to people privately if you so wished and the evening meal was the perfect place to talk to current Deloitte employees outside of the office.

Yes, we were told about all the things you could get involved in working for Deloitte. For example there are a number of sports teams you could get involved in and Deloitte takes part in many charitable events you could get involved in outside of work.

I would definitely recommend this insight to a friend. It gave a great insight into what working life in Deloitte would be like and so anyone who is thinking about applying for Deloitte I would definitely recommend this insight to.
