About You
It is fantastic and it broadens my horizon in finance.
I would say I feel comfortable in the firm which makes me feel like I would want to work here.
Supports are perfect and address all of my need.
It is not quite much about my degree, math and stats, but it is good to know more about finance.
The Company
It is carefully desinged and runs smoothly.
People are friendly and I like the atmosphere.
I would like to say that the company really did a lot to invest in me. We got free accommodation and food, which made us feel convenient and no need to worry about the logistics; at the same time staff in UBS spent time with us talking about their career and teaching us about the knowledge.
I have been participating in many of the presentations and workshops such that I understand the jobs of most divisions. I also did the work shadowing in my chosen division, where people taught me basic knowledge and what their daily work was like. Thus I have a relatively clear mind of their job already.
There was a few of presenations which mainly focused on the culture of UBS. people from UBS found the culture here nuturing. There was networking sessions where employees from UBS talked about their volunteer work beyond the desk, which also illustrate their culture of give back to people close by.
I would say that the content fo the day was really valuable in helping me to decide on my future career path. having experienced the culture of UBS, I have decided to at least go for a dozen of years in working in UBS. This decision was purely from the content of the day that is why I believe it is really valuable.
Everything Else
I am lucky enough because i got paid in my accommodation and breakfast and lunch for the four days in the spring insight program. the quality of food and accommodation was really satisfactory. at the same time, UBS promised to reimburse my expenses in terms of traffic. i took the train to London and i will be able to apply for the reimbursement.
i would like to say that there were plenty opportunities for networkings. we had numerous of presentations and games in which employees would participate in our activities. at the same time i experienced work shadowing in UBS in which two employees spent a whole afternoon with me and we had enough time in communicating each other.
i would like to say that the networking event was perfect. I have been meeting several employees from UBS and i found out that people are really nice. they were patient in answering our questions and they have the passion to talk to us. this was really impressive as it really leaves great impression on our spring interns.
yes definitely i have found out those activities the employees participate outside of their work. there were some music festivals and music events that most of the employees would more or less spend some time in participating. at the same time, there was some volunteer work that many people would like to spend time in giving back to people closed by.
i would absolutely recommend this spring insight program of UBS to my friend. it is really a good chance of getting to know of finance and market industry. at the same time i would like to say that UBS is a nice place in which nice people got together and collaborate together. it would be really good for people to experience some place like this.
