About You
All the talks and workshops were incredibly engaging and no doubt a valuable experience that would not only help build character, but also knowledge of the industry itself. I particularly enjoyed the substantial time allocated to questions and answers, since this is the best way to learn about the industry. Time was also given to share a few drinks whilst networking with current KPMG employees - without a doubt one of best ways to get insight into the industry. They will help you with a lot of queries and doubt you may have! Also very fun!
Incredible amount of focus was given to the 30 of us during the insight programme. Staff from all ranks of KPMG, from graduate trainees, to partners, gave up their time and were more than enthusiastic to share their experiences.
Helpful booklets were provided, along with insightful talks provided much guidance. Additionally, any extra guidance were happily provided by This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions I recommend taking a notebook with you to jot down everything you learn.
Presentation skills, networking skills and building a personal brand are just a few things I developed on this insight programme, all crucial for making an impact in the professional world.
The Company
Agenda was very clear and stated right at the beginning of the insight.
Peers and staff were incredibly friendly. Overall a lovely atmosphere of support, hard work, but also fun.
All the time at the company was invested such that we better our selves after every workshop or talk given. Lots of attention was provided and even more was available should you need any.
All major divisions covered in depth with engaging talks from KPMG staff from all divisions of the company. There was no assumed knowledge to begin with, but it would be helpful to have a basic knowledge of the industry, at least.
Company culture was demonstrated through every talk and through every workshop. The recommendations from the staff is just a small indicator of the great staff satisfaction KPMG provide.
