  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • The support system put in place by Barclays really allows you to make the most of the spring program. Each person is assigned a buddy within in the area you apply for. Your assigned buddy will contact you before the spring week begins and you can ask for advice throughout the spring week.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The program helped me to develop softer skills such as communication, teamwork & presentation. It also gave me more technical knowledge, with discussions of derivatives, practice of DCF models and accounting metrics. The softer skills will be valuable when moving throughout any career. For my degree a lot of the technical information is a recap but useful none the less.
