Spring Intern Review

I really enjoyed the insight. The culture in Barclay's is amazing and truly representative of its core values. The insight was quite engaging and gave all of us interns a lot of opportunity to participate and develop our skills. There were also many informative sessions that improved my knowledge of the industry.

The HR team was very nice and made sure that I felt comfortable and enjoyed the spring internship. I especially felt valued during networking activities, where business representatives were always willing to help us with our concerns.

There was definitely a good support network from the campus recruitment team, the business representatives and the amazing pool of candidates I attended the spring week with. The guidance or advice provided was very useful and applicable to having a fruitful career in the financial industry.

The skills I have developed over the spring week vary from teamwork to presentation skills and technical skills across the business areas. I am truly grateful for this opportunity to develop my knowledge and form new networks in the company. These skills and networks will be of great help as I progress in my education and career.

The insight was structured extremely well and gave adequate chance for candidates to participate and ask questions. The structure was also very balanced: the information provided was well catered to ensure our understanding and the group works planned were very well organised and engaging.

It was a very friendly and open atmosphere. It must be said that the people at Barclays are professional yet very approachable. They embody the company's core values and move forward to propel the company as a team. I also really liked the people I met and worked with throughout the insight. Embracing the diversity and learning about the breath of experiences of the spring week candidates was a wonderful experience.
