  • Incredibly friendly, appreciative staff, both in branch and in Head Office

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Frequent if not daily meetings with direct line managers, and good support provided by program co-ordinators and HR

  • As much responsibility that could be given to an intern, especially during my branch placement. As interns, we became the bank's face to the customer, making us just as influential in maintaining customer confidence in the Bank and the Bank's brand and image as employees who have been there for many years

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

  • Subsidised/Company Gym

    Staff Sales/Staff Shop

    3/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • 4/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • A great group, but not as many opportunities to socialise as I would have liked due to the geographical spread of inters about the country

    3/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • London living is very expensive! However, extra living allowances were available for interns working in London

    2/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • 4/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • I worked hard during my second internship in particular, and London isn't the most accessible city if you don't live there/already know friends

    3/5
