About You
Very positive experience, the workshops and the group activities were generally intellectually engaging and offered many opportunities to learn about the firm and the industry.
Despite being far from an expert in the field, I felt continuously encouraged to express my opinion and ask questions to anyone who was there,
We got given many insights into what people at the firm do and plenty of advice on how to succeed there.
Being on a science degree course, the knowledge I've acquired will unlikely be useful for my studies, but would undoubtedly help me build a career in the finance sector. However, the skills I developed during the week will be applicable in many situations, both academic and professional.
The Company
The organisation was impeccable and a range of different activities and talks were planned. However, from my point of view, a bit more space should have been given to divisions like Group Technology, at least for the applicants interested in this.
Everyone was very friendly and extremely available to help and answer questions. Furthermore, it was very interesting to meet the other participants.
Although the programme was not paid, I feel the firm invested significantly in all of us by putting a lot of effort and resources into organising a useful event with a large number of employees coming to talk to us from all departments and levels.
