The Role
I felt truly welcome and was able to get involved in a range of important and interesting projects.
Everyone I worked with was really friendly and welcoming and I was able to get involved in social activities
My supervisors were both fantastic. I always felt like they were there to help me, were really friendly and kept an eye on me.
Towards the end of the placement the department was relatively quiet so there was less work to get involved in, but never had nothing to do.
Always felt like the work I was doing was going to be useful to some extent. You don't expect to be given too much responsibility but was able to sit in meetings and get involved in a range of important projects.
Watching, learning and then putting the skills into practice within the firm will be invaluable. I have had the chance to get a head start on the subjects and skills that will be useful in the GDL and LPC and feel much more confident about the work I do.
The Company
Everyone was really friendly and the atmosphere was generally upbeat.
Meeting the other interns before I got there was a really good touch as I already knew I would get on with them and I was always kept in the loop as to what the schedule was.
