About You
The insight was very useful. It delivered a much clearer image of what Bank of America Merill Lynch does than the internet. There was a lot of opportunities to network with representatives from the bank which was insightful as it gave us opportunities to get a sense of the culture of the bank. The insight also offered a lot of opportunity to let us know what the finance industry is all about.
There were lots of opportunities for us to raise questions during presentations and case studies. I generally felt that it was a chance to let us know more about the bank as well as for the Bank of America Merrill Lynch to know more about us.
A lot of guidance was given especially during the case study activities. Bankers in the bank would sit in a table with us to offer direct guidance on how to approach the case study.
It assisted me in the sense that it gave me a much better understanding of how the financial industry operates.
The Company
The insight was very well structured since it offered us one day each to explore our pre-picked two divisional preferences. Each day would consist of networking with bankers and a case study activity. Apart from that, there was also lots opportunities in other days in the week for us to know about other divisions which weren't initially chosen as our two divisional preferences.
General atmosphere was very good. It was very energetic and fun. The representatives from the bank also delivered a very friendly atmosphere to us since they felt very approachable. The environment was very relaxed which meant that I was able to make friends with a lot of fellow spring interns in the programme.
Bank of America Merrill Lynch provided a lot of support for us in the case studies. Even though it was a spring insight event and not a summer internship, I felt that the bankers were very helpful and friendly.
The insight offered us a lot of opportunities to network with the bankers. Through my conversations with them, I really felt that I was getting a feeling of how it was to work in Bank of America Merill Lynch.
I found the insight very useful in helping me to understanding the company culture. There were lots of presentations and networking opportunities to talk to bankers about their day-to-day role and their views on the bank's culture.
It was very helpful. The presentations from bankers not only talked about the culture of the bank, it also talked about the long term development that an individual joining the bank can benefit from. Additionally, it also talked about the trends in certain industries including the Fintech industry.
Everything Else
There were many opportunities to network with other employees. There was almost a networking session every day in the spring week.
There were great. The networking events varied from formal networking opportunities to informal networking dinners.
Yes. These were delivered in a lot of the networking opportunities which were given to us.
Definitely.
