The Role
Very interesting, course-relevant work. Would definitely be interested in continuing a career with this company.
Very much so, I was given challenging and clearly relevant tasks and could see my work used further down the line.
A very organised and structured internship program with lots of support. It was very easy to ask questions and my colleagues made time to help me out.
At times especially at the beginning of the summer I was relatively quiet. The work built up over time as I was given more responsibility but now and then I was slightly bored.
After a while I was given a lot of responsibility and left to work alone, sometimes reporting back only on a weekly basis.
Very much so. The work was very course-relevant and I used skills I had already learned at uni. For future life it was great to work in a organised and big company.
The Company
It was OK. Not much banter from other colleagues as most were busy, however everyone was friendly and helpful.
Very well. The company had clear goals and tasks for me.
I was given a fair amount of training to do my job but for most tasks I either found out by asking someone, or by researching the problem myself.
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
I still have a few years left at uni but I think it's pretty likely I will be able to go back the following year and then they'll have to offer me a job!
The Culture
Really good. We had good banter at work and lunch and went out most weeks.
Quite expensive but the pay was good so was affordable.
Bristol is awesome. Millions of bars and clubs although we did end up in the same place most weeks.
A few, mainly just company socials though.
