  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • It was so interesting to learn more about operations and JP Morgan. All the talks, the group projects and talking to so many of the staff at JP Morgan was very useful and it was really good to get to know other people with similar career aspirations.

    • I did feel really respected, everyone was very patient with all of my questions and I really felt although they were glad to have me as a guest at JP Morgan.

    • There were a lot of employees that helped at coaches and there was plenty of support throughout the process.

    • It has definitely been very useful for me to understand the type of career operations would be and has helped me think about and know more about what career I want to have in the future.

    • It was fantastically well organised and everything went very smoothly.

    • The atmosphere was generally very positive with all the interns working well together and the staff being very respectful and polite.

    • For a spring insight programme I think the company went beyond expectations with helping me develop my skill set.

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?

    • Talking to so many different people in so many different roles in operations, including work shadowing means that I have a good idea of what it would be like to work for the company.

    • It was clear from how we were treated and the glowing recommendations from the employees that JP Morgan was a respectful company where business is done right.

    • It hasn't completely cleared up exactly what I want to do but it has definitely helped me know and given me a lot to think about. I think I can now make a more informed decision.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • I was put up in a very nice 4* hotel, travel and some meals were paid for.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • I was very impressed with the amount of networking opportunities available and the number of employees I was able to talk to.

    • They were all very useful as it was with such a variety of employees, I feel I learned something from everyone I talked to.

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?

    • Yes lots of people talked about how they were involved in the social committee and joined sports teams and there seemed to be a lot of opportunities.

    • I definitely would recommend this opportunity, I feel very grateful to have had it and it was so useful as an insight into operation, JP Morgan and the business world.
