The Role
Really nice people - both other interns and within the company; everyone is very approachable. I have a very good work-life balance.
My team have been amazing - we haev the perfect work/friendly relationship
My manager was brilliant. Always there to help, educate and guide.
At times I could have had more work, but the spare time gave me an opportunity to network and learn more abotu the company. I also allowed me to have a good work-life balance.
I was suprised how much independence and responsibility I was given. It made me feel like a worthwhile and valued member of the team.
The skills do not assist me in my degree, but I think in the future they will be very helpful.
The Company
Really great group of people.
At times there was some confusion over when and where I was meant to be - particularly at the start
Paid for me to do training, invested time to educate and instruct me, treated me well - definitly want to come back to this company.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare from home
Hoping that I will get a job, but I do not find our until a couple of weeks after the placement.
The Culture
Some interns were social, but there tended to be a small group of us who went out. There were often drinks/events with colleagues that were a good way to socialise.
Too much for a student really! But we didn't go out that much, so it was ok when we did.
Not great!
Not very many, although I think if you were at the firm full time there would be more
