The Role
I really enjoyed these 9 weeks of internship. It's really well organized so that we can network with many people across the bank and with the other interns. We are given a good overview of the different jobs in the bank and we are invited to go and meet the other teams on the trading floor.
You can really add a lot of value in your team. They listen to your ideas and suggestions and are happy to discuss any topic.
The management takes time to explain us what they expect from us. They give us projects but they help us throughout the internship. They also give you feedback on a regular basis.
It depends on the day. Sometimes you can have a lot of works and meetings. Sometimes you are not busy so you can go and see the other teams.
They trust you very quickly and then they give you responsabilities very quickly: writing trades ideas for clients, attending clients'meetings,...
I study finance and all the things I have learnt during this internship will be helpful to finish my degree.
The Company
The Culture
London is very expensive but you have a good salary and an allowance.
I'm working in the City. There are a lot of pubs and restaurants close to the office. It's easy to go out with other interns in that area.
Not really. If you look for activities outside of work, you have to organize this with other interns.
