About You
The placement was really enjoyable. I felt it was very informative, giving me lots of information from all areas of the firm. Also I found it very engaging with the networking activities and Business Challenge.
The organisers did a very good job in welcoming me into KPMG. In addition I was happy I got the opportunity to hear from partners from the firm in addition to several trainees.
I got given information from all areas of the business and from a great variety of levels. It was also helpful hearing about the variety of ways into KPMG from employees themselves. Also the networking on the Monday evening was a great opportunity to get a better feel of what it is like to work for KPMG.
I felt it gave me an idea of what I wanted to do after my degree and what I need to do to get there. After the experience I learnt how I would really like to join KPMG post degree as a trainee and I will take the skills I learnt through the business challenge to try and achieve this.
The Company
Really well structured. Lots of chance for networking and great range of speakers. Some useful skills session ran by the student recruitment team. Business Challenge worked well, split up over the two days however maybe could have done with a little extra time to prepare our final presentations.
Great atmosphere, everyone was really friendly including staff and fellow attendees. Very professional environment which I enjoyed being a part of.
Large amount and variety of staff took time out of their usual work to speak to us and give us their experiences for the firm.
Greatly. I feel it has given me a great idea of what it would be like to work at all stages of my career at KPMG and in all the different departments on offer.
Really helped me. I think the culture is great and somewhere that suits my personality.
Extremely useful informative information was given to us throughout the two days which will be invaluable to me looking forward. I really would like to work at KPMG as a result.
Everything Else
Yes, several networking sessions across the two days.
Very good. Friendly atmosphere and very informative.
The networking gave me to find out about the opportunities outside work, where some departments are more active than others.
Definitely, and a must if you want to work for KPMG as it offers so much information and a great insight into the firm.
