    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • I very much enjoyed the Insight day, very informative with excellent chances to network with current employees within the organisation and current graduates. However, can still be improved in very few ways. The first day did not need to be as lengthy and detailed in terms of what to do and what not to do. I understand JP Morgan are a very exclusive company however I believe a 1-2 hour talk is lengthily enough. Apart from this, the insight day was a great success and I would encourage everyone to apply.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • I felt valued since joining and arriving at JP Morgan headquarters. Food was provided and never was there a time where we were not looked after. During my time there, I also felt we were given the chance to express ourselves and ask as many questions as possible.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • During the insight day, we were guided through the whole week and only left alone when need be (group presentations or projects). They supported us with any queries we had in terms of not knowing what to do and when. We were always given full guidance throughout

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The skills and mind-set developed over this insight day will help us in our everyday lives as well as degrees more than we will ever know. Social skills as well as group and team working skills were tested and put to the limit. This however was a great experience and one we will never forget. Furthermore, it has been a memorable experience having met people from different universities such as Bath and oxford.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • The structure during the week was amazing, very well planned out and thought through. The organisation team and mentors did a great job in getting everyone together. We had everyday structured to a time in terms of hourly knowing what we were doing and when we were doing it. Explanations given were excellent and very informative.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • The atmosphere can be said to be very enthusiastic and at times very calm and relaxed. We were put under pressure when need be however were also given time to relax after strenuous activity. I believe the general atmosphere led us to believe we were in the apprentice or dragons den with panels marking us but was still very exciting and a very moving insight day.
