About You
I really enjoyed the insight as it really opened up my knowledge about the different sectors to work at KPMG. The networking event was also very useful to meet new graduates and I really enjoyed it. However I feel like the meal portions were very little and I got hungry very easily after the meals. However I feel like for the networking, we should have gotten staff with much more experience and some questions I needed answered, I couldn't get them answered as the graduates weren't as experienced.
Everyone was made to feel valued, however I feel like the instructors knew us generally, but not personally, but it's okay as it was just two days and the programme wasn't really very long.
There was very good support and everyone there was very friendly which is something I've heard that everyone at KPMG is.
The presentation skills and all the negotiation skills were very I good and I have a presentation in a week and I feel like my skill of what I'm going to do has improved.
The Company
It was very structured and everything they told us was going to happen at the beginning of the day happened and we finished right on time.
The atmosphere was very friendly, which is something I've learnt is how KPMG is and I'm glad to have gone there and seen that a big company can be very personal and comfortable.
It really helped as during the networking we spoke to different people and met different staff and the interaction allowed us to observe the environment and learn that it's very supportive
It was really good, and I definitely have a plan of what area I want to work if I got into KPMG
Everything Else
We were given a form on the second day for reimbursement.
Yes there was the opportunity and I met some people that graduated from my university. It also helped to hear different stories of people's experience of getting into the firm.
We did as we had different speeches from people in all the different areas Yoi can work in KPMG
