The Role
I really enjoyed my placement as I got to try out new experiences and meet people who also share the same passion within the industry. The benefits were great and everyone who worked at the company were friendly which made the experience a lot more enjoyable.
Throughout my time I felt very valued with my team, we all worked together efficiently and always motivated, and helped eachother when we needed it. Together we all grew throughout my time and there was a high level of respect within the team, when it was time to leave it was hard to say goodbye.
During my time I was given a lot of support, if there was an issue that I faced my management were always happy to help and guide me through it by explaining things I didn't understand, but also teaching me new approaches and techniques to solve problems.
In the beginning I wasn't so busy and had the perfect balance, but towards the middle and the end of my placement I was very busy and was working very hard to meet deadlines set by my supervisor.
During my placement I was given a large amount of responsibility. I was in charge of a small team but was heavily relied up to lead development and ensure deadlines were met. Most of the time people would consult me directly rather than the supervisor first which gave me a lot of responsibility to uphold
The skills I have developed have given me lifelong skills that I have taken back to university and am applying during my final year. It has taught me how to best manage my time and efforts to work at the best of my ability. These skills will also be really adaptable in the future in jobs beyond my degree.
The Company
It was a good balance between hard working and fun throughout a daily basis, there were points to take a break and be able to have a laugh with my fellow colleagues in the office.
The internship was well organised and the overall process was very seamless and easy to take part in.
The company invests well in training and development for those who which to pursue, however due to my working nature during my placement I did not get to utilise this.

The Culture
The social scene was great with regular events between both placement students and also project colleagues. Everyone is always ready to get involved and just take time out from their busy days to socialise and get to know each other better.
As the placement was based in London it was very expensive to live and socialise so most of the socialising can be limited due to costs.
It was brilliant so many people socialising and was always great fun to go with work colleagues and be in a more relaxed environment
There were some opportunities but they weren't well advertised.
