About You
I enjoyed the whole week so much and I did learn a lot more than I have expected
I really feel myself been valued by Barclays team and I also asked one of the directors why we are valued so much even if we are intern, he told me Barclays does so because Barclays expect a lot from us and because some of us may present Barclays future.
Pretty much, the HR team has been so supportive!
I think my interpersonal skill has been improved a lot.
The Company
This insight has a tight but well-organized schedule, really thanks the team doing this for us.
It was delightful, fun, and filled with challenges. In all, it was great, cannot enjoy more.
I think the investment is huge, because lots of VP, directors, and graduates have to set aside their current job and come to us to illustrate their function.
For me, this insight is helpful because besides spotlight session we also have work shadow session, during that session, we can actually see around the working place and ask staff about they current work or project, Barclays people are all friendly and patient and they really show us a lot about their job.
I think every business representatives is a reflect of Barclays culture. In this week, I feel that they have the integrity towards market, the prudence towards their work, and their kindness towards people.
I think Barclays provide sufficient information for me to make my decision. Because before I went to Barclays, I know what I know, I know what kind of job will I enjoy, however, I do not know the job's name, either its department. But after Barclays representatives illustrate different kinds of job for us, I luckily realized that I find the area I want to work in.
Everything Else
For me, this is more than enough. I was provided with accommodation, reimbursement in terms of flight. BTW, the accommodation is awesome, even better than what I rent for myself in school.
Yes, of course. We have two networking sessions with a shorter time and one with the whole evening.
These sessions provide us with the opportunities to talk to the top management of our interested area and they were so nice and they didn't rellluctant to share both their working experience and their life story, which is helpful for us making our own decision. Apart from that, we also met with lots of staff from graduate program, and they can actually illustrate how the real jobs look like.
One of the graduates invite me to their team drinking. The atmosphere after work was also great for people work in Barclays, they relaxed and became less serious.
Yes, definitely
