About You
The Spring Insight Programme was great! I had a great fun interacting with all the students and employees. Had a chance to learn my two divisional preferences, and BAML gave plenty of flexibility as to which division we could be assessed for.
BAML definitely made me feel valued. We all got to join our first division, and explore the different areas within the division. They organised events that allowed us to actively network with the employees. BAML's employees invested their valuable time in us to explain about their divisions and day-to-day work.
Everyone was willing to help and answer questions.
Over the course of five days, I believe I learnt a lot. Numerous networking opportunities enabled me to learn the most efficient way to networking. Interactive sessions on trading game and stock pitching were great ways to introduce students into Global Markets.
The Company
Very well. Every day was planned throughly, and everything smoothly throughout the day.
Great! Everyone was friendly and easy to talk to.
The company provided me with all the necessary materials to enjoy the spring week. BAML's presentations were usually all conducted by VPs and MDs, who have a lot of experiences.
Talking to and work shadowing the current employees really helped me gain a knowledge of what it would be like if I join the firm. BAML employees were very honest, which really helped me in understanding the work life balance.
Everything Else
Yes, travel expenses were reimbursed, and accommodation was provided.
There were plenty of opportunities to network with BAML employees. I felt very valued when VPs and MDs of the company came to many of our networking sessions and spent time talking to us about their work.
They were very interactive. BAML made sure there were enough representatives for all of us to network.
Absolutely. I think by completing a spring week, not only you will have more knowledge about the process about applying to investment banks, but also know about the division you want to go into by work shadowing them.
