About You
I found the insight really enjoyable, with a diversity in tasks and helpful employees.
There were always nice employees around you, and the other interns were nice as well.
There was a good mix of introductions and group projects. We could always consult employees of the bank if necessary, and they provided good advice.
I feel I have developed both personal and technical skills, and all of which will assist me later in life.
The Company
I was always aware of what I should do and where I was supposed to be. I think there was a good mix of presentations, discussions and tasks during the course of the week.
Very friendly and enjoyable. Although we were competing for summer internships, I did'n find the atmosphere competitive at all.
The firm wanted me to develop both personal and technical skills, and I feel the presentations and tasks accomplished this. There was clearly a coordinated effort from the HR team and the other teams in the bank.
I especially found this out during the networking sessions and during the workshadowing. It gave me the opportunity to ask and see how the bankers worked.
Much of the focus during presentations and networking sessions was on the company culture.
It helped me confirm I want to enter the industry, but there could perhaps be more division-specific tasks in order to give an even better overview of what the different divisions do.
Everything Else
Travel and living expenses were reimbursed.
We had plenty networkning opportunities every day, which I found really valuable.
They were very relaxed and comfortable. There was a good mix of different professionals I got the opportunity to meet.
The first part of a whole day went to this.
Yes. The insight was very enjoyable, helped med gain a better understanding of the industry and made me more certain about decisions I will face in the future.
