About You
Great experience; learned a lot and met many great people along the way, very enjoyable.
Lots of information provided, lunch and travel costs covered, attended a number of talks given by senior members of the firm.
Guidance was not particularly needed for the most part, per say, as for the majority of the week we were either networking or listening to lectures/ presentations. When this was needed, however, we did indeed receive it.
Insight into the firm, its practices and its people. Learned invaluable networking and presentation skills, which can in truth be applied to any business, so in this sense it was a very good induction into the working environment.
The Company
Everything was planned out well in advance. There was a good breadth to the course, providing a surprisingly detailed insight into the different business functions.
Everybody was very friendly. This was applicable all the way from graduates to the numerous MD's who were kind enough to talk to us.
Expenses paid; good level of training and information provided for such a short time period.
Networking opportunities allowed us to talk to a large number of current employees, in many different positions within the bank. Work shadowing was also a part of the scheme.
Very good insight into culture through presentations and talking to current employees.
Very much so. Very comprehensive insight into the company, its values, and the different roles performed.
Everything Else
Networking evening, as well as a number of speed networking events.
Both in a sit-down environment, as well as an event on the 30th floor on one of the evenings. Very enjoyable and beneficial.
There was not much mention of this, although it did come up in my interview.
Definitely.
