The Role
The internship gave me valuable experience to learn about the investment banking industry and what to expect when we finally join as full-time employees
The atmosphere was one where I could reach out to anyone regarding my queries.
Management was helpful and wanted us to extract maximum learning from our internship
We were a lot of stuff whole day and were kept busy all the time
I was given ample scope to justify my talents though nobody could expect to run the show in his first 2 months at the job
It was an invaluable experience working for Nomura as an intern and look forward to getting an offer from them and joining full-time
The Company
As I mentioned earlier the seniors were always ready to enlighten us.
The internship was divided into two stints of a month each and which gave us a chance to work across to separate functions.
It always asked for ways to better its internship programme
Subsidised Canteen
Financial Bonus
At time I was interning with Nomura my fellow batchmates were working with other i-banks and compared to there experiences I found Nomura to be a much more suitable place to work for.
The Culture
I found London to be quite expensive
Nightlife was rocking in London
We were taken out for drinks quite regularly
