The Role
Variety of interesting work
All the people I worked with were very friendly and always willing to help.
If I needed help they would take their time out to show me exactly how to do something and answer all my questions
Towards the end of the internship I wasn't very busy but they didn't really have much work to give me and I had a group project to get on with.
As much as can be expected within 8 weeks.
Helped me understand the role of an actuary and a small insight into the qualifications.
The Company
Good, friendly atmosphere.
There could have been more socials organised but was generally well organised.
Always took the time out to help and teach me how to do the work I was given.
Subsidised Canteen
Quite appealing - not been offered a Job as of yet but If I did, it would be quite hard to turn down.
The Culture
There could have been more socials organised by Mercer, but amongst the interns we managed to organise nights out pretty much every week.
Quite expensive - but it is London.
Good night-life but expensive.
I could get involved with the cricket team, team socials, football matches etc.
