About You
I enjoyed the insight. It was very insightful and I was bombarded with lots of information. There were numerous networking sessions which was helpful but I would recommend to cut down on the networking sessions and implement more work shadowing sessions as they were limited. However, we were given an insight into the different divisions within the Group Functions which gave us more of an understanding to choose which function we would want to select to apply for our summer internship.
It would have been nice if the people who organised the insight knew all our names and not a few. Therefore some people felt excluded.
There was a lot of guidance given in the networking sessions as in the extra qualifications needed to progress.
I believe the skills I have developed will assist in my degree studies and beyond as I am confident in presenting.
The Company
It was well structured. There was an app called Double Dutch which provided the agenda for the week and other useful information.
The atmosphere was good- the spotlight sessions definitely lightened up the mood with the case studies and interactive games.
There was no personal training but a general training to the whole group.
There was a numerous networking sessions which we were able to find out a general insight what it would be like to have a full time role but personally to have more of an insight, I would have wanted more work shadowing sessions.
A lot. We were given a session about the company culture especially their RISES values.
It was valuable but it would've been more valuable if we had the actual experience of seeing employees working on a day to day basis.
Everything Else
Our lunch was also paid for us- we had £7 per day.
Yes there were numerous opportunities.
They were insightful.
Yes but very minimal
Yes, definitely go for the experience.
