    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • I enjoyed the insight. It was very insightful and I was bombarded with lots of information. There were numerous networking sessions which was helpful but I would recommend to cut down on the networking sessions and implement more work shadowing sessions as they were limited. However, we were given an insight into the different divisions within the Group Functions which gave us more of an understanding to choose which function we would want to select to apply for our summer internship.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • It would have been nice if the people who organised the insight knew all our names and not a few. Therefore some people felt excluded.

    4/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • There was a lot of guidance given in the networking sessions as in the extra qualifications needed to progress.

    4/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I believe the skills I have developed will assist in my degree studies and beyond as I am confident in presenting.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • It was well structured. There was an app called Double Dutch which provided the agenda for the week and other useful information.

    4/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • The atmosphere was good- the spotlight sessions definitely lightened up the mood with the case studies and interactive games.

    4/5

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • There was no personal training but a general training to the whole group.

    3/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • There was a numerous networking sessions which we were able to find out a general insight what it would be like to have a full time role but personally to have more of an insight, I would have wanted more work shadowing sessions.

    4/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • A lot. We were given a session about the company culture especially their RISES values.

    4/5

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • It was valuable but it would've been more valuable if we had the actual experience of seeing employees working on a day to day basis.
