    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • It was truly enjoyable. Gave a good insight into the type of employment one may experience at Barclays and everyone was so nice and welcoming.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

    • I felt very valued, as all my opinions or comments were taken into account by both other spring week interns and staff. Especially during the work experience when I accompanied my employee into a meeting everyone was very welcoming and I wasn't ignored.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?

    • A lot of support given as all staff were happy to answer questions or explain things. The app helped with guidance/support also.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I don't think what I learned will help me with my degree studies but it will help me lots in the future with job prospects and knowing more what kind of work will suit me best.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • The insight was very well structured but I think there was a little too many presentations whereas I think it would have been more informative to give more of a general overview of the department. Everything ran smoothly however and it was great that we were able to have a talk from Jes!

    • The atmosphere was great, everyone was really enthusiastic and encouraging. I think Barclays would be a great place to work in

    • Im not sure there was much training as such so I dont think we were invested in but it gave us good opportunities for the future

    • The work shadowing gave the best insight and I think that gave me a pretty good understanding

    • A good insight, but that was mainly from the work shadowing and also from questions
