About You
I really enjoyed the programme. Though it was a little dry in parts, it was extremely informative and I learnt loads about EY, Tax, Assurance and myself!
Felt very welcome but of course, it being only 2 days you dont make any valuable connections.
I wouldn't say my degree will be benefitted by the programme but I hope that my participation will stand me in good stead for progression with the company.
The Company
Very well structured. There was a clear timetable for both days which was adhered to.
Really friendly and welcoming. They were clearly out to impress us and it worked.
It's only an insight. While there was training, they weren't really investing in us too much at this early stage.
Really great first person understanding. Really liked how they had employees from our university's and people who were only a few years ahead of us so that we could really track our future progression with the company.
So much! While I'd read about the famous EY culture it was brilliant to see how happy people were to work there first hand. Really lived up to expectations - sold!
I'm still not 100% clear on what assurance is. But the tax talk was very insightful and helped me decide that's where I'd like to start.
Everything Else
Yes lots but I'm not sure how useful any of them will be at such an early stage in career progression.
They took us out for dinner on the Thursday night (all expenses paid) which was a really fun evening.
Yes lots! They have lots of sporting competitions, trips, socials etc. sounds like a lot of fun.
Yes if they are thinking about pursuing a finance career in the city. It was a little dry though so not for everyone.
