The Role
Staff are very supportive and always willing to help with any problems.
Ocassionally people are quite short tempered but it comes with the job and environment.
Mentors were always willing to discuss progress throughout the internship.
Very busy but learnt a lot. Don't expect to leave before midnight most days.
Attended vaarious client meetings where I had to explain work I had undertaken.
Time management and being able to work through the night are key to this job.
The Company
Good team.
Some confusion at the start due to staff changes but otherwise ok.
Formal training only in the first week. After that it's up to you to decide how much you want to learn.
Company Parties/Events
A very experienced and sociable team makes it a good working environment and a place to learn as much as you can handle.
The Culture
Went out on average once a fortnight but again, don't do investment banking if you're expecting to go out every night.
London is generally expensive.
Would at least have to travel for a bit in order to get something other than a pub.
Didn't have many days off during the internship so not much time to do other activities.
