About You
I really enjoyed the insight week! The time spent at work was brilliantly combined with the time for socials. We learned a lot about the J.P. Morgan culture, but we also had much fun! The people with whom I interacted were really nice and this made the experience more enjoyable. It was all in all a very delightful experience!
The company took care of all its "insighters" with very much care. We were treated as future assets for the company so we were given all the conditions for an unforgettable experience. The amount of effort they put to arrange this week plus the constant 'inside knowledge' we were given made me feel very valued!
We were supported very good throughout the week in every activity we did. We had coaches and buddies to watch over us and give us constant feedback for everything we did. We had the opportunity to do work shadowing with some of the graduates in the firm, which consisted a huge guidance for a future career with J.P. Morgan.
I learned a lot of essential information that will certainly help me in my future career. I developed new skills that will come in handy for any similar job position. This knowledge is a certain must for a career, however it does not assist very much in the degree that I pursue.
The Company
In my opinion the insight was really good structured. The J.P. Morgan team took their time to build up the best kind of experience you can have in just one week. Starting with essential talks, followed by work shadowing and an Agile game to get you going into "the company's world" and ended with a coding challenge and a really exciting interview.
It was a full of fun week. Apart from work, we had networking sessions and socials every day. As we combined the important work with socialising, the fun stopped only in the night, when we were too tired to continue it! J.P. Morgan's interns, graduates and seniors really know how to have fun!
They treated me at every point in the week as a future asset. They spent their time to develop all of us in the best way they could in such a short time. I would say that each member of the recruitment team invested everything they had for the best kind of development!
When I applied for the insight week I had no idea of what J.P. Morgan really does in the Technology field. After this week, I know now not only how a full time role would be in this company but also how every department fits together in order to ensure the best product in the end!
J.P. Morgan's culture is really important to every employee. Everybody working there shares the same core values and principles and they transmitted them to all the "insighters". Any role there consists of a constant development in this culture's way! This is why, after only one week, I can really say that I know pretty well their culture!
The content "displayed" was really helpful as I know now pretty well how my career path is going to look like. I identified myself with J.P. Morgan's culture in this week so I can say that it was pretty crucial in my decision for my future career! It is needless to say that, after this week, I decided to apply for a full time job at this company!
Everything Else
The company paid for the accommodation, some of the food and transport costs!
All week long we networked with all kinds of employee's from the company, from graduates to senior. We also had networking events and socials which took us "closer" to employees!
They were really fun and took us "closer" to the other employees! The networking and social events were main events during the week! We had a lot of opportunities to have fun but also to talk important things about the company! Everybody from J.P. was eager to talk to us and we felt pretty important!
We had a presentation on the city and the extra activities we could do outside work. However, in such a short period they could not emphasize enough on this.
I already recommended to all of my friends!
