    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • Very informative week; filled with a variety of useful, interesting and varied talks and interactive sessions.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • The programme was quite large and therefore only a limited amount of attention could be paid to each individual.

    3/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • Support was extensive and very helpful during the Assessment Centre. However before this, support was there but not necessarily offered voluntarily.

    3/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The skills and informative I received were invaluable. Especially in preparing for the Assessment Centre and future applications at the company and within the industry. They will not necessarily assist in my degree but will certainly be beneficial in later life.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • Very well structured. The timetable provided was detailed. Each session ran on time. The sessions were very varied, making the programme enjoyable for all.

    5/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • Positive. The other candidates were friendly and the atmosphere encouraged the building of close relationships. However the programme was large and therefore interaction with all candidates was not possible.

    4/5

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The firm invested in us as a group but not necessarily in each individual. However the group as a whole developed considerably.

    3/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • As best as possible. It is always very difficult to ascertain exactly what working in the firm would be like, due to the nature of the programme. However the use of office tours and work shadowing allowed for a suitable insight.

    4/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • The insight helped considerably in understanding the culture.

    5/5

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • Very valuable. Useful firm wide experience but also allowing individuals to narrow down on specific divisions.

    4/5

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • Travel expanses, food during the day was covered.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • Yes, lots of networking opportunities. However some of these could have benefitted from being more structured. There could have been a greater variety of divisions from which the employees came from.

    3/5

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • Varied. Good social events to mix with candidates as a whole.

    4/5

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • Yes, to a degree.

    4/5

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
  • Yes
