The Role
Excellent 10 weeks. Challenging and engaging.
Everyone in the whole department was very welcoming and friendly.
My line manager always challenged me to do better, as well as varying my work & delivering a constant stream of it, and always provided feedback on each piece, as well as my overall performance.
My hours were perfectly reasonable for most of the duration of the internship.
My team were keen to get me involved with as many deals, transactions, or even unconventional reviews as possible, along with providing me with opportunities to present to executives or MDs.
This is the profession I now wish to make my career in.
The Company
The atmosphere was friendly and calm, but still ultimately professional.
Everything was extremely well organised, from our everyday work to our case study to the number of social events throughout the 10 weeks.
After an initial entire week of training, separate training classes & online courses were made available to us for the duration of the internship, with almost one a day for the first half or so.

Employment prospects are excellent once an intern receives a job offer (which happens at the very end of the inernship), but these haven't been given yet.
The Culture
There were numerous social events throughout the internship which were always carefully arranged & well set-up.
The City of London is really expensive.
There are bars and clubs all over the city, never had a problem with this.
There were opportunities for this, but for those of us enjoying the social events and committing to our work meant those were usually prioritised here.
