The Role
I found the work interesting and the office atmosphere very welcoming and laid back.
Everyone was so friendly and greatful for my help, even if it was just writing an email for them. I could approach anyone at any time with questions.
My line manager gave me the task of presenting two reports on an asset class which was good practice and meant that I could show other members of the team my skills.
I always had several things to be getting on with however I found a couple of occassions where I had a couple of pieces of work with very tight deadlines which meant that I had to work quickly.
I think I was given an appropriate level of responsibility. I worked on important pieces of work however this was always checked.
The presentations that I did were great practice and will help me in my degree. I also felt that what I learned was very useful considering that I want to go into an Investment career.
The Company
Very proffessional but people were always friendly and happy to answer any questions.
We had several projects organized to make sure that we were always kept busy.
The work and projects that I took part in was a huge learning experience and would be valuable in a graduate position at the company.

Healthcare/Dental
I recieved an offer for a graduate position.
The Culture
I attended after work drinks with the team and enjoyed socialising with the other interns in the office.
Leeds is cheap compared to London and is a big student city so has lots of cheap places to eat.
There were some big clubs but I didnt get the opportunity to go to them in my placement- the six weeks went so quickly and before I knew it I was back home.
There were a couple of social events at peoples houses and I had heard of things that happened in the past such as rounders matches.
