    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The business unit looked to use you as a tool to help it in certain ways. Involvement in projects and although temporary would invest training and qualifications into its students. The chance to use the company assets to visit other Cummins Ltd factories around the UK, conferences, events and having the chance to stay over. The respect gained from the role and the opportunity to act on own instinct and freedom from the role is comendable.

  • Items evolved themselves so it is up to the placement student to follow what suits them, the more of a proactive role that is taken and the more that you do, and the more people that you speak to, the more you are remembered! The mainframe was presented in the first month and items fit around this.
