- Staff were more than willing to help and take time to answer any questions you had. - We were all encouraged to participate / take a leading role in the activities. - Staff were understanding if you had a query.
- Networking sessions provided time to ask one on one questions. - Staff gave detailed and well thought answers. - Vast amounts of opportunity to ask questions to a panel. - All divisions were well represented which allowed for a good mixture of career guidance. - Also great guidance on writing a good CV / cover letter.
- To a large extend. I am now well informed about the different divisions within Nomura which I believe has allowed me to decide on which one I would potentially like to join. - Case study example gave good interview practice which will help with future applications. - CV workshop means I now know what the main characteristics HR look for, also beneficial for future applications. - Presentation has helped me improve research and public speaking skills.
The Company
- Extremely well structured. No point was there any time with nothing to do. - Events were of a suitable length, making them enjoyable and sustainable. - Activities were well planned so we knew a few other participants before going into group work. - Networking sessions were well timed so we could follow up with questions after to activities.
- Very welcoming and relaxed, a suitable environment to ask questions. - Members of staff were humble and made time for you. - Friendly - wasn't difficult to talk with other participants.
- Helped prepare us for future application processes.
- Detailed activities for respective divisions gave a great insight.
- More than I thought. Through the ability to ask one on one questions with staff you could see a pattern in work ethic and personalities.
- Again because activities were so detailed and varied I now have a well informed opinion on all the different divisions.
